In order to reduce the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), we have adopted the following guidelines from the American Academy of Pediatrics. These rules apply to infants 12 months and under.
- Infants will always be placed on their backs while sleeping.
- No toys, fluffy bedding, bumper pads, or pillows will be allowed in the crib.
- No child will sleep in a swing, any kind of chair (including car seats), or any other sitting/reclining device.
Parents who choose not to follow these guidelines will be required to provide written permission.
