All staff will have read and understood the facility's Handbook which covers all policies and procedures concerning Merisko's Childcare LLC.
- All staff will be prompt and regular, and will always greet the parents with respect.
- In my absence I will always leave at least one primary staff person in charge.
- No staff member will use any type of corporal punishment. Redirection and positively reinforcing appropriate behavior will always be our first recourse.
- Only primary staff members will be allowed to discipline the children in the event of my absence.
- All staff will adhere to Child Abuse and Neglect reporting laws of Washington State (WAC 388-296-1340).
- All staff will report any changes to their criminal background and keep current all required trainings (first-aid, CPR, STARS) yearly.
