Transportation and Field Trips When going on field trips the children will ride in a vehicle provided by the childcare facility. I carry a commercial insurance policy on my vans used to transport children. Children between the ages of three and twelve generally participate in off the premises field trips. Infants under two years will remain in the daycare home with proper staffing. Most of our field trips are taken during the summer months. Some of the places we go to are: Marysville Skate Inn, The Everett Ice Arena, the Children's Museum in Everett, the Marysville library, music in Comford Park , various parks in Marysville and Everett. School aged children currently ride the bus which picks up and drops off at my house (in front of the driveway). Should the children need to be transported to Sunnyside School , only vehicles owned by the childcare facility will be used. Only eligible staff shall transport children unless permission from parents in writing is given. Proper car seats provided from home will be used according to the new guidelines set by the Washington Traffic Safety Commission. The vehicle will carry a first aid kit and all present children's completed enrollment forms. |
