Infant Sleeping Policy

In order to reduce the risk of sudden infant death syndrome, commonly known as S.I.D.S, I have adopted these guidelines from the American Academy of Pediatrics.

These rules will apply to infants 12 months and under.

  • Infants will always be placed on their backs while sleeping.
  • No toys, fluffy bedding, bumper pads or pillows will be allowed in the crib.
  • No child will sleep in a swing, any kind of chair (including car seats) or any other kind of sitting/reclining device.

Parents who choose not to follow these guidelines will be required to provide written permission.
