Expectations of primary staff, assistants and volunteers All staff will have read and understood the facilities Handbook which covers all policies and procedures concerning Merisko's Childcare LLC. All staff will be prompt and regular, and will always greet the parents with respect. They will be required to In my absence I will always leave at least one primary staff person in charge. No staff member will use of any type of corporal punishment. Redirection and positively reinforcing appropriate behavior will be always our first recourse. Only primary staff members will be allowed to discipline the children in the event of my absence. All staff will adhere to Child abuse and Neglect and reporting laws of Washington State WAC 388-296-1340. All staff will report any changes to their criminal background and keep current all required trainings (first-aid, CPR, Stars) yearly. |
