Emergency procedures including staff, evacuation plans, sick, injured

Children or medical emergencies

 All staff members will be trained on the disaster plan as outlined in our handbook, as well as capacity (WAC 388-296-1350) and employee qualification regulations (WAC 399-296-1410). All staff will be trained on where the emergency numbers, children's files and personal files are kept. All staff will be trained on medical emergencies and follow all steps as outlined in the parent handbook. There will always be one working land line phone on each level of the premises. All staff will be trained and practice monthly fire drills. All staff will be trained on how to operate fire extinguishers and test smoke detectors. All staff will have a TB test. In the event of absence all staff will notify me 48 hours in advance. The only exception is in the event of and emergency and will be required to notify me as soon as possible.
